Type Rating Courses
All of our type rating courses are conducted to strict airline standards, using state-of-the-art Computer Based Training (CBT) courseware, as well as FAA / JAA Approved, Level D Full Flight Simulators, incorporating the latest technology. Courses for the following aircraft are available for your convenience:
- Airbus A320, A330
- Boeing 737NG / BBJ, B747-400, B777
- Canadair CRJ 200 / 700 / 900
- Embraer EMB 170 / 175, 190 / 195
- Other aircraft types are also available upon request
For all of the available aircraft, we also offer customized Initial, Transition, Upgrade, and Recurrent courses, for PIC and SIC, as per your individual requirements.

Jet Transition Courses
For pilots who have completed an ab-initio program with a Commercial Pilot License, and who want to enhance their pilot qualifications and flying skills, we offer a customized Jet transition Course, designed to familiarize you with the operation of a transport category jet aircraft. This course will provide you with a thorough understanding and operational knowledge of advanced aircraft systems, automated flight deck, "EFIS / Glass Cockpit", Crew-Coordination, and FMS procedures, that will also very effectively prepare you for a standard Type Rating Course, for the type of aircraft selected.
This course is conducted to the same exacting standards as the type rating course, and after completion of the ground school, training is conducted in our exclusive, cockpit specific, FAA Approved Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) or Flight Training Device (FTD), representing the aircraft of your choice. For your benefit, the Jet Transition course may be taken as either a stand-alone course, or as a prerequisite for one of our standard Type Rating Courses, for any one of the following aircraft types:
- Airbus A320
- B737NG / BBJ
- Canadair CRJ
- Embraer EMB 190 / 195
- Other aircraft types are also available upon request

Regional Jet First Officer Courses
These are custom courses, exclusively offered through our strategic industry partnership with Simulation Standards (the training division), and with the participating partner airlines. They are designed for the pilot candidate wanting to get employed as a new-hire, Regional Jet First Officer, with any of the Commuter or Legacy Airlines that operate regional jets. These courses are very similar to our Jet Transition Course, except that the candidate will have the benefit of choosing a particular airline for whom they may want to work for, and then completing our RJ First Officer Course, specific to that airline.
Our airline-specific RJ First Officer courses are custom designed to meet the pre-hire training requirements of each individual airline. Through our agreement with the airline, the selected candidate is trained using that airline's specific requirements, including their approved checklists, profiles, "call-outs", and other unique training procedures. In certain cases, the airline will offer the candidate a conditional offer of employment as a First Officer, upon successful completion of our RJ First Officer Course, approved by them. This will assist the candidate in successfully completing that airline's own new-hire, RJ initial training program. We have an outstanding, proven record of successfully placing new-hire RJ First Officers with many of our partner Regional Airlines in the US.
